Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has stepped forward to clear the air and issue an apology after a high-stakes dramatic scene intended to teach a contestant a lesson on "Bigg Boss 20" backfired, sparking widespread alarm across social media regarding his personal health.
The controversy erupted following a promotional teaser aired by the show's network, which depicted the host appearing to suffer from sudden, acute physical distress on stage. The intense clip immediately prompted deep concern among viewers, circulating rapidly online and leading fans to speculate that the seasoned actor had suffered a genuine medical emergency during filming.
Taking to Instagram to quell the rising panic, Salman clarified that he is in good health and completely fine by the grace of God. He explained that the visible pain shown on screen was an intentional performance designed to drive home an important ethical boundary for contestant Kazi: that personal health issues should never be leveraged as a trivial gimmick to manipulate emotions or entertain audiences without consent.
However, the actor pointed out that the promotional clip was cut and edited without proper context, inadvertently making it look as though he himself was exploiting a medical scare for sensationalism. Consequently, the isolated snippet left both viewers and the 15 housemates inside the Bigg Boss compound under the impression that he was facing an actual physical breakdown.
Emphasising that his public apology was aimed directly at the housemates and loyal viewers who were needlessly distressed by the misleading edit, Salman noted that television teasers can often distort reality. To put an end to the baseless rumours and reassure well-wishers worldwide, the megastar confirmed that there was no cause for concern and reiterated that his health remains perfectly sound.
