President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed departed for Singapore on an unofficial visit on Saturday night.
The President's Office confirmed the departure of the First Couple, noting that they left during the late hours of the night. However, the office did not disclose any specific details regarding the purpose or schedule of the private trip.
This visit follows previous personal travel by the First Couple to the Southeast Asian nation since President Muizzu assumed office.
Most recently, President Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha made an unofficial visit to Singapore from May 24 to May 30 earlier this year.
The President's Office has not yet announced an official return date for the First Couple following the conclusion of their current stay.
