Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has expressed deep concern over the prevailing atmosphere in India, stating that he longs for a greater sense of peace and harmony across the nation. Reflecting on the current social climate, the veteran actor admitted that he no longer feels the tranquil environment that once defined the country.

Speaking warmly of his fellow citizens, Dutt described the people of India as exceptionally affectionate and hospitable. He emphasised that a society rooted in such goodwill fundamentally deserves to thrive in stability, understanding, and mutual respect rather than division.

Highlighting the enduring spirit and values of the nation, the actor commended Indians for traditionally being generous, welcoming, and compassionate. He stressed that these core cultural tenets of benevolence and openness have shaped the country's identity throughout history and must never be lost.

"The people of this country are so lovely. There should be peace here. I can’t feel that peace in our country anymore," Dutt said. "We Indians are large-hearted people and we are hospitable. We have given so much, and we should always remain that way. I pray to Shivji that those days come back soon."

Dutt concluded by urging the public to preserve their welcoming spirit, expressing hope that unity and mutual goodwill will soon be fully restored to the country.
